Our Approach to Gun Violence Prevention & Intervention
Founded in August of 2020 with a mission to address the root causes of violence, particularly among youth in underprivileged communities, our organization provides mentorship programs and community events to foster positive relationships and alternatives to violence.
The ALIVE Initiative addresses the pressing need for support and intervention in communities affected by concentrated poverty, family dysfunction, and desensitization to violence. Through mentorship, community events, and positive role modeling, we aim to create a supportive environment where youth feel valued and empowered to make positive choices.
